Ouch....that’s a tough one! I’d be happy owning either, but happier owning both! For collectibility sake....the SD. For general wearing, the Sub, and because out of those two, the patina on the Sub is fantastic

Knowing nothing about the value, rarity, or popularity of either, the Sub without question. The colors of the lume and the insert together is unbeatable.

two very different watches, I made this same choice a number of years ago when prices were not as crazy as today making cost a minor issue in my decision. I found the SD to be too bulky for my wrist. I've owned a bulky Omega and really hated bashing into things with it, the sub was much more versatile and usable for a guy with an average wrist size so I opted for the sub and have never regretted that decision...
