5078P Minute Repeater Retail Price

If you are lucky enough to buy a minute repeater new from an AD, what is the retail price? It does not seem like Patek publishes prices for grand complications like this. So, how does the customer know what the real retail price actually is?

Well according to Mike's post giving us all the Patek Philippe watches' prices it isn't that expensive...

Patek does give us the prices of some of their Grandes Complications, some regular perpetual calendars for instance. However, this one being a minute repeater it most probably is an application timepiece. I'll take a guess and assume it's probably near a hundred thousand dollars...if not more.

I could still be wrong though, perhaps another member knows the price of this watch and would be able to give it to us.

EDIT: A quick search made me find out that this reference's retail price is 376 700$.

Actually you may be correct I may have missed a price increase! I didn't see your edit before my post.

Of course, your price was too good to be true...

I wish you were correct at the $100k Carl, it would be a sweet addition. At $375k, not so much.

The more I think about it, I don't think Patek would sell a picture of a minute repeater for $100k

I'll buy that for a dollar!

Seeing as I can't justify the cost of that piece, I'm looking at the IWC 5449 as a substitute for a more reasonable $116k.

I asked at the Patek boutique in Beverly Hills and they said they are bespoke items so unless it is used you probably wont see one ever for sale.

The 5078 is about £270k with a 12 month wait the last time I checked with the Patek boutique in London.

The version with the black dial is my favourate Patek watch!
