Help on a Daytona 16520 Patrizzi
Hi all,
After a long wait, I am in the process of buying my first Daytona, a 1990 16520 Patrizzi , E Serial. The seller say’s it is 100% original, MK4 Patrizzi Dial, MK3 Bezel. It will cost me about $28.5K. I would highly appreciate your opinion and the expert’s eye. Any red flags? What do you guys think? Thank you for your advice. https://imgur.com/GbYOFcD https://imgur.com/ScgL3iO https://imgur.com/vLOhVsP https://imgur.com/5kwzsaD https://imgur.com/CguD4EQ https://imgur.com/ZICPRPR https://imgur.com/jHcwK1j https://imgur.com/JTlGp9X https://imgur.com/Hfx0Cjw https://imgur.com/9LvFwj0 |

Since you asked, I think that is an insane price for that watch. It might be the current market value, but that is crazy.

That is NOT a PATRIZZI dial. The sub registers are silver, they have to be brown (dark). It they are not brown by now, they are not going to ever be brown.

Over-polished as well; look at the crown guards.

Cannot be a Patrizzi dial from 1990. There are a number of posts covering the serial numbers.

By far not the expert, but the overpolished bezel and heavily polished lugs would bother me. It's definitely does not look like Patrizzi dial. (don't think it's dark enough). Have a look at compax dial to give you the idea of how "brown" they could actually get!

It’s a Mark III dial. The fact the seller doesn’t know that would worry me. Overpolished and big money not being a full set.

Not worth it, over polished, not patrizzi,
You can find much better for that price. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
