Well that escalated quickly
Shout-out to my amazing AP nomad for just taking the time to educate me and even spend his time late after hours having great conversations with me. I have to say that I have learned so much about the inner workings and watch flow into the US that my eyes have been opened to what’s happening inside behind the curtain inside of the emerald city (wizard of OZ ref) So for the last month I have been working with my nomad to get a piece that I started on this journey to get myself a late Bday present ��, he put out a few pieces and just didn’t have the story I was looking for to add to my journey So I took the time to send out a text message of the few Daily use grail (my grails) pieces that I have been hoping for along with a screenshot of each watch, I gave him my personal take on what each of pieces meant to me! (I COLLECT PIECES THAT TELL A STORY OR START A CONVERSATION) each screenshot shared my thoughts on each piece and what made that piece special to me and my collecting journey. My Nomad hit me back with “I think I have this one” a week goes by and he keeps updating me he is working on it. Then I get the call ��. And it’s available in NY.C ��*♂️ Being I’m in Florida and the value of this piece, I Want to go see it in person before pulling the trigger! I talk to my BOSS (AKA the Wifey) TALK about bad timing we have people in town and my father is flying in for his Bday week so Worst time ever to fly to NYC. Wifey gives me the pass to fly up and back for the day to see the watch so I call my Nomad and tell him I’m headed to NYC! My nomad hits me back saying he will be in the area at Corporate and we can ship it there and meet there! YAY that’s customer service at its finest! So off we go yesterday. 2hrs total and getting to meet meet some of the amazing people at the corporate level including the Key Master for AP North America (the wizard of OZ himself) I told him he is the most LOVED and HATED man in the company �� !!!
