Who would like a Panerai Central limited edition Panerai?

If you are a Panerai fan and also on Instagram, chances are that you already follow @paneraicentral. For years, I’ve been enjoying the content and knowledge that the account provides. Personally, I think it would awesome if Panerai Central got its own limited edition Panerai for being the great Panerai Community Ambassador for all these years.

I think Panerai has created a “be-everything-to-everybody” identity crisis for itself...the spectrum ranges from mass appeal (e.g., 38 mm due) to micro edition releases (e.g., a new release of 60 units to a loyal Risti community in Germany)...

When you add on poor marketing campaigns—“be a modern day hero with your survival instrument”—IMHO, Panerai will need to eventually choose its direction as brands don’t thrive without a specific purpose...

It’s like Panerai is trying to drastically change (many of the SIHH 2019 models show us this), yet cling to what makes Panerai “Panerai” in the first place..

A bit of “have you cake and eat it too” right now...
