I just saw the black, monochrome, racing dialed version on a bracelet and it's siren song is strong....very strong....also the grey dialed version with the orange second hand...

that one I've only been able to find on a strap, however.

ABSOLUTELY a keeper. Permanent. At least in white. I found my 216570 to be supremely comfortable. This rivals that.

good to know, thankyou !

I need to find a couple to look at in real life, the grey dial looks really nice, but I'll likely end up with the black...

And yes, I have a ceramic Daytona...Black dial. Quite honestly, I like this better.
A little late to the party, but huge congrats. That is a great looking watch. I, too, was wandering around in my AD (this past December) and saw one of these. I was totally captivated by the piece, almost bought it, but I was really there for one of the new Tudor GMTs. Since then, I've been reading up on this watch @ Omega's site, and have been searching for 'incoming' threads like this one to see some owner photos. I've been an Omega fan since 2000, have put together a small collection, but this white-dial Racing Chronometer (or is it silver?) is one of the most gorgeous Omegas I've seen in quite a while. Congrats again, sounds like you are thoroughly enjoying it. Regards, -Rick.

Congrats. The Omega racing Speedys are really attractive, extremely well made pieces.

I do still thoroughly enjoy it. in a rotation. It is silver or white depending on the light. Its the best made speedmaster they've ever made.

It's a great looking piece, and you wear it very well. I'd love to see a picture of it in your watch box, to get a sense of size comparison next to your other pieces. Great collection, btw.

Since I got mine 2 weeks ago, I can't get passed the honeymoon infatuation. I think about it even when wearing other pieces on rotation.

This is my second Omega, 14 years after my PO2500C. I really love this piece. My phone camera is dead, so I've not been able to take good outdoor pictures yet. As OP pointed out, I also encourage people to try them on at ADs/OB. Well worth it.

I think that's one of the sharpest watches I've seen in awhile. Congrats and a good choice in my opinion.
