Completed the MacNab (5970P, 5070P & 5370P)

There was an article describing the Patek version of the MacNab. In short it was acquiring the 5370P, 5070P and 5970P. Well, after a trip to my AD yesterday evening I can now say my MacNab is complete. The 5370 is the final piece and look forward to wearing it and becoming acquainted. All three are IMHO wonderful pieces

Ok. I’ve just googled this:

The Macnab Challenge has its roots in the 1925 novel John Macnab by John Buchan. ... The modern Macnab Challenge: bagging a salmon, stag and brace of grouse within one day between dawn and dusk, is derived from Buchan's tale. It is a thrilling test of sporting skill (with a dash of luck thrown in).

Please tell me you haven’t put together this fabulous collection in one day?

Awesome...congratulations
I do have a question.
Which do you like better the 5970 or the 5370?
I continually debate getting a 5970p but question if I really need it given I wear 5740 for my daily, 5370 or 5131r if I feel like it plus I have a couple of others up my sleeve if I feel the urge
I would love to know your thoughts
Thanks in advance

Can provide more insight after some more time with the 5370. I rotate quite a few watches daily including a 5712 and these three. The 5970 is awesome...classic Patek, well balanced and timeless. The 5370 may match it but it will be hard to beat it. If you are wearing the GC more for occasions rather than daily than I can see why you might not need both. And the dial and applied numerals of the 5370 are stunning...perfect for that occasion piece. I plan to add 5370 to my daily rotation and the differences between these three references add variety to my daily enjoyment

Having a 5740 is something I aspire to...congrats

The 5370 is great but I found it not very practical with small kids and a busy lifestyle i.e. on and off all the time
The 5740 is very practical and I have only taken it off once since I had it.
Both are extremely legible unlike the 5131
The 5740 wears better than both the steel and platinum versions (I just posted a shot of mine under the heading 'perfection')
Enjoy your beautiful collection

A 5204p would fit like a glove in that group.

Huge congrats, OP.
