Turning into a wonderful year for me! Decided to retire, early-ish, age 50. So much time ahead to fill with fun stuff ...

I finished my last deployment of my Naval career & am twiddling my thumbs, trying not to get into trouble until I move to sunny San Diego with my smokin' hot wife, motorcycle & watches. 3yrs there, then who knows. I'll have to look for a real job!

Also, great news, I got tacit compliance from the wife to go ahead with the Milgauss search/purchase.

2019 has been great. On track to triple my income, paid off my truck, bought my first Rolex, and lost 34 lbs.

I moved to a new state last fall and have been reinventing myself. I’ll be getting back into my hobbies again as well as picking up some new ones. Going to get back into SCUBA and plan on taking up golf. Life is good.

For me biggest highlight so far was changing careers. After 10 years finally have a office job, Monday to Friday. Get to spend more time with my family. Looking to just build and grow from that. Never thought it would happen, but it did.

Best things always happen when you least expect them!

Agree completely. Thanks brother.

All as a distant second:

My business already beat last year in sales. And 2018 was a record as we doubled 2017.
Moved into a new house with the wife.
Started a new side hustle type business.
Bought a Porsche 911.
Bought a Ferrari 458.
Put enough away to confirm ability to retire at 55 (10 years away) if I want.
Maintaining fitness levels, if not meeting my goals.

All that is amazing on paper. And does put things into perspective as I’ve actually had a tough year. The year has been filled with never ending stress, anxiety, insomnia, high blood pressure and rolling deadlines.
