I've got the blue dialled Skydweller and the 50th anniversary seamaster. They are obviously very different watches, but if I had to choose one it would be the Skydweller. An annual calendar for around £11k from Rolex is a great thing imho.

I voted Sky Dweller because that's a wonderful watch. But $18K+, it's a bit too pricey for me.

I think the TT sky is one of the best looking TT's out there. The SD, not so much.

Did you have the chance to see both? And what is the intended usage? TT SkyD having a bezel in gold is a bit more lavish and blingy. It is quite formal as well in comparison to TT SeaD which is subtle and durable. Mind you bezel is in ceramics. I personally prefer SeaD and this is why I bought it a few days ago. While speaking of SkyD I got the SS in blue and it is awesome! Had the chance to try TT SkyD and it was nice but did not feel the itch so to speak.

I have the TT Sky D with black dial. I love it. Just a very different TT than the SD. I love the fluted bezel and the GMT/calendar complication. The SD has no complication that I really need or use.

Sea Dweller for me. The SkyD is just ok. I'll probably buy a blue face Sky at some point though. What's not to like? :-)

I have a TT Sky Dweller with black dial on order. They can be ordered specially in the UK.
I have two Sub Dates, one a TT, and an oversized one, capable of withstanding pressures which I will never subject it to, seems like more of the same. I'm still looking forward to seeing one in the metal though. |

I voted Sky-D but think they are both great options. I hate TT Subs in pictures but love them on my wrist, especially black dial. I’m nervous if I see the two-tone Sea-Dweller at an AD. They’ll make me try it on and I might not take it off.

Mind you, poll results are not objective, as SeaD is not yet available in many places and before you see it alive you would never know what would you prefer.

Sky dweller. I just bought one TT with black dial. I do have a sea dweller 43 in stainless as my daily. But even if I didn’t I think I would still go sky dweller since the fluted bezel and complications make sense in TT vs such a hardcore tool watch as the Sea Dweller. Can’t go wrong with either but my vote is for Sky Dweller.

My HO only... Sea Dwellers / Subs are tool watches. Like going off to war in a tank or submarine with gold and chrome trimmings. Sky Dwellers (and GMTs) on the other hand are travel watches. Excusable if one wants to travel in style! Either one looks gorgeous though!

Both are great choices, I would find it tough to chose, but since you already have the gold Sky-D I’d go for the Sea Dweller

Sea Dweller TT at MSRP would be my choice.
