Incoming: First DJ for me
Don't think I've ever owned a 'dress watch' ? ... a couple of OP39s is about as close as I've got to something other than a sports watch.
As much as I love the jubilee/fluted combo on other folk, it just wouldn't get any wear with me. Will probably save for a jubilee though at some point .. The oyster smooth bridges the gap between dress watch / sports watch. Just a small amount of bling for a change and I must say I'm enjoying it. The oyster bracelet is great, I actually love the PCLs ... (maybe revisit that comment in a few months when I get fed up carrying a polishing cloth around constantly). The easy link extension works perfectly for me, when the wrist swells up a bit. The blue dial is stunning. Dam difficult to photograph.

That's a beauty, great combination the blue dial with the smooth bezel. I bought exactly the same watch. Its got both a professional sporty look and the classic look, not many watches can pull off this.

I haven’t worn a Datejust for over 10 years, but the new DJ41 is such a nice model I couldn’t resist. Picked one up a couple of weeks ago. I love it.
