Help with 1601 dial

Hello

This is my first thread here on Rolex Forums, i'm so excited to be finally be a memeber here!

I have a Rolex 1601 serial 179XXX with a dial that I can't quite be certain of what type it is. The internet have kept me clueless and I've reached out for help on my local watch forum here in Sweden, but nobody seemed to know the type I have for my 1601. I have no reason to belive it's a fake since the seller I bought it from is a highly trusted one here in Sweden.

If some one here on Rolex Forums can help me that would be much appreciated.

Please see my picture down below for reference.

Tanx, The same dial pops up when I search on google so that should be a good reference of the correct name for the dial. Is this dial considered a rare one?

I’d say yes; you certainly don’t see it everyday.

Ok, I might want to get this checked up at one of the local action firms here in Stockholm to get an apprasial and maybe some more info on the dial to be certain.

Once again, thanx for the answers, this really made my day!
