double drive through McDonalds and most fast food places...

I hate the double drive through at most fast food places.....Ive almost got hit and last week I saw to women get into a slug/hair pulling fest right in front of me .....one claimed the other cut her off. In the US we are to big of McAsses for it to ever work, The McDonalds down the street had to hire a off duty cop to keep fights from breaking out!

You need to find a McDonald's in a better neighborhood.

Frankly, the double drive thru always scares me. That being said I rarely use it because McDonalds is my last choice when it comes to fast food. Grew up on McDonalds being the best fast food in the seventies but find it to be my last choice now.

Even better. Throw together a small Tupperware of carrots, peppers, olives, and cheese cubes when jumping in the car.

Or even easier, an apple and a slice of good bread. Maybe a finger-sized piece of cheese.

they need a double drive thru. It's the only way to ensure customers pay for their food

Sorry to hear that Greg.

On a side note, are you sure McD is the right food for you?

We make our doctor apt early because the later in the day it gets the more likely we will have to wait hours and hours.....experience speaking.
We stop at McDonalds so I/we can get a large coffee and egg Mcmuffin...its one if the few things that's on a list for diabetics we can eat since we are both diabetic. Coffee lowers blood sugar so i drink it all day.....i may drink to much of it.

Yep. Got hit a bunch of years back in a dual drive through at MCD's. Here in the US drivers get confused too easily. Dual turn lanes and now traffic circles.banghead.gif

exactly. the only reason i would do a drive through would be i have a napping young child in the child seat and i am the only adult in the car.

Because you enjoy that whole "dining in" experience...?

I rarely eat fast food, but on the occasion that I do, I'd just assume get my meal and get out.

Only reason to go inside is if I need to use the restroom.

That sounds crazy, Greg! I'm not a fan of them either. I've never witnessed any accidents or some of the other stuff you mention but can totally see some of it happening.

Try the mobile app. If it’s available in you McDonald’s... place your order from the app, pull on the lot, your order shows up inside. You park at the designated spots and they’ll bring your food to you when you’re parked.

Somebody told me about it....we had no idea but we are old and not into cell phones etc. That would beat the hell out of waiting 15-20 mins in line ....im going to try it Monday our next 8:30 doctor apt.

Agree Greg, absolutely hate any kind of traffic control device that confuses most drivers out there, most are clueless, the double lanes at McD’s rate right up there with “roundabouts”, just try your best not to get hit!
