My local AD was pleased to anounce the arrival of their new Rolex Toolkit. I even got treated to a look at this amazing kit.. Well I'm easily pleased

I was told what it's worth...my reply was your joking right..? Apparently they weren't.

Very expensive... Well I was thinking on the line's of quite a few Hundred pounds. But we're talking well over a Thousand mark I was no where near.

As to RRP well it's not available. but I'm sure it would be down to who you know in trying to obtain one as it's only intended for AD's.

I have no idea why you're being so secretive. If the AD told you, it's not exactly closely-guarded knowledge.

Regardless the cost, those look like really nice tools with which some sales guys is gonna screw up bracelet links.

I think with that kind of money I'd rather just buy another Rolex.

Well ok I should have originally opened this thread as "What would you pay for a Rolex Toolkit"

I was told just under £3500... OMG... I quite agree with the other comments. For that money you would seek another Rolex to add to your own collection.

After all the purpose of the lovely toolkit is to adjust your links and aid polishing.

The screwdrivers are beautifully made, and are torque screwdrivers, they are not cheap by themselves.

A very kind lady in selfridges Rolex boutique allowed me to see this case and the tools. They felt top draw quality when she told me it was worth £3.5k my jaw did drop somewhat. But then again after seeing the quality of the tools it did make me think. But only thing we as owners would really ever need is the loctite 1.6mm screwdriver and Bergeon link removal tools, no? Slightly cheaper to get on their own lol

Isn't a 1.6mm screwdriver and a link removal tool the same thing? I didn't know there were any special link removal tools other than a screwdriver. Hmmm.

Just a small amount of tools for salespeople, nothing fancy. What do ya think a Fathometre II costs?

Honestly if I have several Rolex in my collection, I won’t mind splurging for a proper Rolex toolkit that scream “FANBOI”.
