I like it. I’m from upstate NY so I get the color scheme and his passion for the Knicks and his hometown of Brooklyn. I think it’s a cool looking watch.

Love the case...No cg, slimmer lugs, mushroom pushers(except the color on them), are all pleasing to my eyes. That is all...

"Each is made to order for the customer" means they will make all 40 if there is a demand but for now they are just basking in the light of some easy publicity. This bears the watermark of a well executed PR stunt.

Absolutely Steve

And can you imagine how many on here who "swoon" over the "Paul Newman" Daytonas would consider it an "abomination" if the PN had never existed and Rolex (or any of the custom watch houses) released a Daytona with that exact dial now....

we are a funny group of enthusiasts without question Scott

Remember the Rainbow Daytona as well? That combination was absolutely torn apart when it was released and now it is on fire on the secondary market since being discontinued.

The Lapis Sub was another flop in the N serial age of Rolex which has exploded in value.

The funny thing with this custom is everyone says they want SS blue dials and clear case backs, no crown guards but somehow just because it is custom now it is terrible

To be fair though the price is pretty crazy but I can appreciate it for what it is.

If it was factory I would absolutely be all over it

I'm a very traditional Rolex person so what Les Artisans de Genève offers isn't for me. I'm sure they'll sell all, a lot of celebrities with ties to that area (or an appreciation for Spike) would do it.

No kidding. I never thought we'd live in a world where an all green Sub was popular, which boggles my mind, so I can't hate on this Spike Lee watch too much.

One of the first things I think of when thinking of Daytonas is Spike Lee

Lol the Lenny Kravitz version comes with a box that doubles as a Bluetooth Speaker. smh. Neat I GUESSSS; but it seems much easier to just buy a Speedmaster and pocket the difference..or be like a level headed TRFer and buy two watches!
