Rolex Service after Rolliworks Repair

I am thinking about getting a very stretched 18078 and I wanted to know if Rolex will still service my watch after Rolliworks restores my bracelet.

Thank you.

Unless I'm missing something, why not just send the bracelet to Rolliworks and at same time send the head to Rolex so you maybe get both back around same time?

If only that were the case - Rolex will not service a watch without an original & what they deem to be a good condition bracelet on it, unlesss you buy a new bracelet from them.

Unfortunately, possibly not - there have been a couple of posts from Forum members over the last year who have been refused service on rebuilt bracelets unless they buy new bracelets, as they were deemed as not original.

How would RSC know the bracelet was repaired?

I took my Rolex 16700 GMT for a full service after I had the bracelet done at Rolliworks couple of months ago.

Straight off they recommended a bracelet restore (without actually having really checked the bracelet out lol), and I said no need, was just done at Rolliworks. Tech said, "Ok no problem" and did the complete service on the watch.

Hope this helps.

I’d have Rolliworks do both. They do great service too.

From what I’ve read about them on this Forum that could be the way to go.

Rolliworks offers a 2 year warranty as well. Of course it's not a Rolex warranty. They did my watch service and 5 years later still ~+2 spd.

As I said in my post, it is in the last 12 months unless of course you have had one of your watches serviced In the last 12 months. Perhaps it is only In The UK, but there are several examples on the Forum now. From my personal experience, I had my Father’s 6426 serviced by an RSC last year and then had another one serviced just a few months later, but that watch, which looked a wreck and had been described on eBay as ‘junk or for parts’, but I put an original 78350 bracelet on it which I had from an Airking 14000M which was in excellent condition

At that service, the Watchmaker told me he would not have been able to service my Father’s one with the original 7835 bracelet on it now, as he had done for me just those few months ago. He explained, that this was due to a new Rolex policy. This policy po would have deemed that bracelet to be in not good enough condition and I would have had to have purchased a new Service 78350 one for them to conduct the service. Honestly, if you saw the 7835 bracelet you would wonder why as there is obviously some stretch in it due to it being a 45 year old bracelet but it is far from falling to pieces.

I am not working on conjecture here but personal experience. As I said in one of my earlier posts, hopefully this is just a UK thing, but a UK gentleman has posted a new example in the last 24 hours at the end of one of the threads I highlighted in an earlier post and I have also seen another gentleman give another example recently from the Singapore RSC.
