Incoming Grand Seiko SBGA281

Saw this tatami dial springdrive while shopping at BIC Camera Shinjuku. Couldn't resist!

Really like this. GS is getting so, so close on these. If they would just add lume!

Thanks guys, appreciate your comments!

There are narrow strips of lume on this reference. I will follow up with a dark shot when I have the opportunity.

It's not called tatami by GS; I was reminded of tatami when I first look at this watch at very close range. From far, it looks like brushed effect.

No, but there are others with lume such as SBGA099 (now 299), SBGA147, and there may be another one I can’t recall.

Apologies, I thought those narrow strips are lume, but when I took a night shot I could not see them. Maybe these are something else, although I don't know what could they possible be. I thought the SE said they are lume when I purchased this watch, maybe it was misinterpreted by me. Anyway, it does not take away my enjoyment of this watch at all.

Here is another shot.

Another one mentioned within that thread, but not the other one I think there still is. Different case shape entire, so it may not appeal.
