Franck Muller Regulator, makes me a bad person?

About once every three to four months I give some consideration into picking this up on the used market (not crazy enough to buy a Franck Muller at full price). I know the Franck Muller brand is pretty well tarnished at this point, and the movements for the standard models are fairly standard. Regardless, there is something about the proportions, layout and overall design that appeals to me enough to make me considder it on multiple occasions.

Am I a bad person for liking this Franck Muller Regulator?

pic for reference:

basic specs:
manual winding
18k white gold case
size: 31mm x 43mm
thickness: 10mm

Why would anyone be a bad person for buying what they found appealing in their eyes?
Buy what tickles your fancy, and never let what others may think become a consideration.

Despite the current state of the brand reputation, Frank Mueller is an excellent watchmaker, and that is a good looking watch.

Franck Muller list prices have always been too high and the brand has had its ups and downs but I really like the looks of that particular watch, especially with the tonneau case. That written, I've always found regulators to take too long to read. Still, they're pretty cool.

I was going to buy a Casablanca until I started doing research and was shocked to see the FM brand tarnished, FM himself not involved in the company after a scandal with Russian movements and layoffs, it was just too much for me to overlook in the name of an otherwise really attractive and unique aesthetic that I loved. $3500 used for a Casablanca I’m still considering, but never full price. I think the FMs are unique and gorgeous, I am sad about the brands reputation at the moment. I just LOVE how the Casablanca looks and only fellow WIS on TRF are even aware of the brands reputation.
