1970 Rolex Day-Date ref. 1803 “President, South American Import Stamp”
Up for grabs is a Rolex Day-Date in 18kt yellow gold
Reference 1803 with pie-pan dial and acrylic crystal 2.8 mil serial number circa 1970 production Very good vintage condition case with thick and even lugs. No major dings or dents. Clear numbers between the lugs. Dial is original champagne pie-pan with original hands. Spanish Day disk and original date disk with open 6’s and 9’s. There is an import stamp on back of the lug “C” as used in South American countries during this time. This reinforces the watch’s original Spanish day disk as well as South American made “DA” President bracelet Caseback is stamped 1803 inside The bracelet is South American Rolex “DA” in 18kt yellow gold and shows plenty of stretch from use. No box or papers. My price is $7,800 shipped within US. I ship via FedEx w/ ParcelPro insurance so international shipments are not an issue.
