Day date steel is unique? help please

Hello, sorry for my English. I wanted to ask about a watch that my grandfather gave me and I would like to know a little more about it.
It's a daydate but made of steel and I can't find out anything about it in case someone can help me.
Thank you.

It's a fake Rolex.

Enjoy it because your grandfather gave it to you.

You won't find anything about it because it is not a real Rolex. It could have many more years ahead of it though. Some of these counterfeits have durable standard movements in them.

There is a steel Day-Date but this isn't it.

It’s as if they did not even bother trying to make it look like the real deal

It is very unlikely with this particular example. Probably plated
