yep. i pray that by the time pickett assumes the role of full-time starter, the offensive line is at least halfway decent.

Crazy how Russell Wilson went from being the best QB in a division to possibly the worst QB in his current division. The AFC West is LOADED but you have the Chargers and Raiders there who are their own worst enemies each and every year. Looking for KC Chiefs to win that DIV.

Hoping for a Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers NFC Championship game. On the AFC side, everyone is picking Buffalo but so hard to do with injuries. Hope they don't call for more designed runs for Josh Allen - would hate to see him get hurt. Also would love to see Joe Burrow have additional success.

Isn't that normal for the Jets?

Looks like I will be watching tonight's game on mute. Apparently Jeff Bezos owns the audio.

Packers make playoffs, go on the road, get hot, lose in NFC Championship. 11-6 in regular season. Rodgers last year.

NFL chit chat 2022 Season

Bills were sloppy with the football, not happy with that.

Still, I’m good with us starting out the season by steamrolling a really good team in the defending champs. That’ll do.

I don’t love 17 running up the gut when we are up 14 in the middle of the 4th but the dog likes to run.

Same. I also wondered wtf he was doing in the game late in the 4th at all, but I suspect the rationale is the same…if McD told him to avoid that run or tried to pull out the hook on him, 17 woulda stiff-armed him to the turf like he did to that Rams DB earlier.

I noticed during Matt’s interview, when he was holding photos from the Super Bowl memory lane that he was wearing a Rolex. I only saw the polished center links and he never rotated over for us to see the dial for reference.

Have to agree. He did quite a bit of that last year too and at times it made me cringe. Obviously he’s a great athlete, but eventually he’s going to get hurt

Great to get the win. The band wagon will be in full swing. I think I’ll celebrate with wings tonight

The Rams were like Rocky in Rocky III when he's the champ to start the movie and then gets his ass kicked by Clubber Lang, aka the Bills. Talk about a stomping. And it could've been far worse, had the Bills not had, what, 4 turnovers?

lol that poor Rams DB is going to wish he was never born when they fire up the film session on Monday morning. He'll never live that down as long as he lives.

rams looked horrible, bills looked really good even though they had a few turnovers. this feels like a classic opener where a bunch of fan bases overreact though so will be interesting to see how things continue

should be a competitive season though. gotta say the evolution of allen is insane, he came in to the league so raw and honestly was horrible. bills did a great job there

Yea, the Browns are one of those handful of teams in the NFL that always seem to get things wrong. Signing away that much guaranteed money to a QB that's been good, but not very good and injury prone to say nothing of his character is just the start.

Right. If their QB keeps running like he did last night injury is likely.

I love it. Messed up Lamar Jackson’s contract negotiations. Lamar looks at that and think he’s worth 500mil guaranteed now I hope the ravens give it to him too

The Haslam's are a big part of the Brown's disfunction. It's hard to overcome bad owners. It's harder to overcome a crushing contract for a mid tier QB.

i think he was a top10 qb back in 2018-2020. who knows how he plays now but think mid tier qb is a bit of an exaggeration. unless he sucks this year, but we'll see

the contract is still inexcusable, not disagreeing on that

He's not a bad quarterback, but I think if he was a consensus top 10 QB he would have had plenty of offers.
