I enjoyed the episode and her general knowledge of watches; she knows what she likes (unique details on her watches) and isn't stuck up about it.

That's more than we can say about a lot of people around watch forums these days.

That was kinda fun.

A bit of a departure and seemed more like a coffee clutch than the technical stuff you get from the guys.

But great fun stories. And she lives in a rarefied world where guys she dated have tons of money to throw around, although only about 3 or 4 were gifts.

But a good start having lady collectors.

Kind of harsh calling her a gold digger, I think. She dates rich guys who buy women jewelry etc. So giving her watches is in that vein as well.

Mmm, no. By accepted definition a gold digger is one who seeks out another person for the sole reason of financial gain. She has her own wealth and dates men in her economic class. If said men give her expensive gifts, it does not make her a “gold digger”.

I was actually impressed she knows her horology and has a nice collection. Good for her.

I think I misinterpreted what was written.

I took she dates rich guys as meaning that’s a pre-requisite for her, rather than happenstance.

I do like a pisstake, but winding up half the forum in one sentence, not so much
