The 5711 is the hardest (20 months) to get here. The Daytona the easiest (2 weeks) based on personal experience. My Aquanaut was a gift by Patek and even then, it took 2 months.

Over the duration of time ie say the last two decades, there is no doubt that the Daytona rules over all else.

However, currently, the 5711 Blue holds presidential office.

I'm not sure how much I think it's worth just yet.

That said, I'm absolutely in love with the dial. Starts off warm in the center and cools off toward the edge. That font with the horizontal lines on the dial makes it look like one of those hipster restaurant signs lol.

I don't care about the stainless steel angle. The entire watch could be white gold for all I care. That dial is priceless, and I think Patek Philippe knows it.

Isn't this the most accurate way of calculating the relative difficulty of obtaining a watch: dollar (or Euro or any other currency, I am not currency biased, I love and respect all currencies) premium over retail? Since the 5711 sells for at least $30K over MSRP it must be more difficult to get than the 116500, which sells for $10K over MSRP.

That's a compelling argument for 5167 being harder!

Good thing you are with a corporate AD.

I mean they are all corporates there in SG, is that right?

From my conversations with several ADs (who sell both Rolex and Patek), the 5711 is definitely harder atm. Having said that, I was able to get SS white dial Daytona and GMT Pepsi this year. 5711 is next on the list :)

Hour Glass is in Singapore and they are not part of PP corporate.

Patek cutting ties with Hour Glass? That’s shocking! I thought the Sterns and the Tays go way back since the 70s... I remember HT and PS discussing something about ensuring the next generation of Sterns and Tays continue their unique cooperation between Patek and THG...

PP 5711 - pretty much impossible to get at MSRP from an AD by most of us mere mortals.....

The SS Rolex Daytona while hard to get, is possible still due to the higher production numbers

The Aquanaut is somewhere in between....

As in reducing the number of store. Hourglass/Cortina has 4 to 5 stores (1 store = 1 AD license) each.

Just going by market price the Nautilus has to be the hardest to source from an AD. Of course if you have zero connections you can forget about all three.

Ha boring 5711 ??! I wonder if one who makes such a comment has ever owned one. I have several Pateks, Rolexes and AD’ s as well as a Vacheron , at least for me, although several of my timepieces are worth much more than the 5711 white face SS - it is my favorite most worn piece. I have had it for about 10 years and never tire of it . Each to his own opinion but I sure like mine . As to OP’s question, of course the 5711 is far more difficult to get unless you want to pay a huge price and go grey, sadly.
