I and debating myself to get either a new roo the last collection or last year limited edition pride of Germany, which one would you think has a better value and better aesthetic.

PoG if you can - otherwise the new ROO. Even if you got the new ROO, you're hardly settling given the same aesthetics except for the numerals

Tough call - the new one looks great, but the POG edges it out IMHO

PoG all the way but I'm biased, here's the bigger version of the picture above:

I will say of all the new ceramic 44's the RG bezel is the only one to have caught my eye though.

PoG all the way. The PoG is a beautiful watch where you'd be pressed to find issues with it. It's quite honestly one of the best sports watches available, IMO.

The new ROO has some aesthetic concerns I am not sure I could get over. That said, I do believe the RG model is the best one. I just don't see how these hold up well over time after the initial hype dies down, but one never knows with modern watches what way the winds will blow.

Both are lovely, but I probably prefer the textured strap on the new release.

I prefer the new one with the rg bezel, I’m sure it’ll be a nightmare to keep scratch free though.

This...have regular 26405CE and after steel bezel 42mm ROO its such a relief. Unless you will really wear it once a week...

Also biased but PoG for me. Likely going to try the new textured strap on mine.

I'm with Sokoloka --- PoG all the way.

It must be flattering when someone uses your PoG pic to make a decision! :)

New one.

I turned down the POG in the end. The new one I probably would buy if I wanted another ROO

Basically I felt it wasn't a hugely different from my 26405CE. Only a couple of rose gold accents didn't really do it for me and I felt it might date fairly quickly. I would have preferred the full RG version but didn't get offered it - I think that was much more limited edition.

The new ROO pictured above is much more of a transition. I do agree with you - I too would prefer the POG dial on the new ROO.

I cannot get over the 11 then dual indices for the 12. Looks like two 11's.

it's the new 11.11.1

Seems AP hates 12 for some reason?

Seems AP is very confused these days. I have no clue what they have been thinking lately with these releases..... it has really pushed me away from the brand.
