Icon3 Watch with papers but no name/ address of original owner - is it authentic?

I am planning to buy a 5296G Calatrava from a shop - Box and Papers - only thing is papers has Seller stamp, date of sale but name and address is blank. I asked the seller about it - they said occassionally people don't put the name and address on the papers? Wdyt? does it look legitimate? Attaching photos of watch and papers here. Would you say I buy it? Shop is in a nice shopping mall and looks high end - they keep expensive second hand watches like Patek, AP, Rolex, Richard Mille, etc. Btw - the movement number as stated on papers (3616129) - matches with the numbers on the back the movement. Great if someone can guide. thanks in advance.

”Open papers” is one of those things greys sometimes advertise as a perk when buying non-AD. As in, it enables you to fill in your own name on the cert.

It’s sort of like ADs supplying single/double sealed watches, outer cardboard box etc. All of this is stuff that collectors sometimes desire but that PP discourages.

So, nothing fishy. BUT. I’d say that there is a non-zero chance that the AD who sold that watch could get in trouble from you posting a blank cert with identifiable AD and serial numbers. Although it seems to have been sold in 2005, perhaps rules weren’t as stringent back then.

For obvious reasons some people don't want to get their address spread about if they sell a watch. I would make sure that the dealer stamp is legit (i.e. that dealer was a Patek AD in 2005), but not worry too much about the owner missing.

I'll let others chime in on the watch but I don't see anything that would have me believe it is not authentic.

Thanks to all for helping out. I checked - the seller did actually used to sell Patek in 2005 so it seems right. Thanks again.

Looks legit. Over the decades have seen many original papers without a name on them.
