Info on Calatrava

Hey Guys,
Hope everyone is well and staying safe. Wanted to reach out to the forum in case any members can provide me info on the Calatrava attached. This watch was gifted to my great grand father while he was a board member over a very important company at the time.

I never managed to meet my great grandfather, and my grand father passed when I was only 14. Even though I didn't know them that well the watch feels special. I have several pics of my grandfather wearing the watch the day my sister and I were born which is pretty cool.

Any way ill stop with the rant. Any and all info will be greatly appreciated. Hope everyone stays very safe.

Hi and welcome

Looks like an old automatic calatrava Maybe ref 3444. It look smal l maybe 30MM
The PP crown is suggestive of a cal 12-600 movt- allegedly one of PP finest

Great inheritance there
well done

The 3444 has stepped lugs. So that's not it.
And most 12-600at's have 34-35mm cases. Not going to find a 30mm automatic mens Patek.

Looks closer to a ref 96 or 570, which would be manual wind. Can't find an identical match in those references however.

The ref 3403 ( my mistake not 3444) is about 32 mm with a 12-600

Might be this model

But there are two PP auto which are quite small ref 3403 and 3440- both less than 35mm

J

The crown is the give away for an auto model

Watch-Guy.com is right, it is an automatic. However it is not a 3440, due to the lug shape. I would think more 3403. The dial markers are a bit unique.
