Most intricate and stunning dial you’ve seen?

Would love to hear some opinions and pictures of the best dials you’ve seen!

This handcraft piece from Patek is a stunner. There is marquetry, guilloche, enamelling and engraving involved.

Hmmm, how does that have a President bracelet without the day on the dial?

Sorry for the confusion.

It is my wife’s DJ 31 on my wrist.

The dial came out in Basel 2019 and I think is discontinued already.

TBH, it is difficult to read the time. It is a piece of jewelry, plain and simple.

But that’s ok, my wife doesn’t have to know the exact time down to the minute like I have to. Her schedule is ‘flexible’.

My wife will ask me to set her watch when we are going out and “I don’t have to bother with the date”

Funny you said that. I set hers too and my OCD would require me to set it to either minute :00, :15, :30, or :45. Since I can’t really tell the other minutes. As if it really matters. Since you can’t really tell the time that accurately anyways.

I know this was posted in the Rolex forum.

I know you said intricate (which this is not).

Stunning it is IMHO.

The last picture is not mine, but you get the idea

Another interesting one she has.

Gold dust dream dial, I think it is called.

The purple disappears completely and show the MOP underneath when you tilt the watch. Only the outline remains. I can’t get a pic to show it properly because of reflection.

Assuming we're not talking just Rolex here, then I respectfully submit the JLC Master Grande Tradition Gyrotourbillon Westminster Perpetuel.

Yes, yes, I know it's a bit of a cheat as a fair bit of the "dial" is skeleton, but it IS very intricate. I actually had the pleasure of seeing and handling one IRL in London a year or so back, and I genuinely think it's the most beautiful watch ever made. Period. Full stop. End of story. (IMHO of course!)

Got a nice backside too!
