Vintage SEIKO BELL-MATIC Alarm Watch (1970)
This 4006-7011 Bell-Matic was made for the Japan Domestic Market (JDM), with a 27-jewel movement, rather than the 17 jewels used for the international models. It keeps excellent time and the alarm functions as it should. Condition Overall very good. A few light scratches and flea bites, and a small scratch on the acrylic crystal between 11 and 12 that only shows at certain angles and should polish out if desired. The black sunburst dial looks great, and the hands and markers are still very bright and reflective. The movement is running at about +2 secs per day. A copy of the instructions on how to operate the watch will be supplied. Facts & Figures Production year: 1970 (May). Case: 38.5mm x 13mm. Lug width: 19mm. Lug to Lug: 42mm. Movt: Automatic Seiko 4006A with English days and quickset date. BPH: 19,800. Crystal: Acrylic. Waterproof: No. Strap: New lizard-grain leather strap. Price: US$475 plus shipping. Forgot to mention, this also comes with the original bracelet included, but it's very short at around 6 inches, so you'd probably need a clasp extender or extra links.
