I have tried the Nat Sherman's but not the model you mentioned. Well made cigars if I remember but his original blend was fairly mild which was the norm back then.

Yes, you're correct Mark. Nat Sherman's are known for being on the mild side which currently is my preference.

Good morning gentlemen. Received a sampler with my last order. Alec Bradley American. Sun Grown wrapper and filler which I usually like. Decent tasting cigar but rolled too tight so not burning or drawing well. Wrapper is cracking as I smoke it. Not a well made stick. Pass on this one...

A friend of mine who is a cigar media guy local to the DC area is at the center of a yearly event commemorating the passing of his infant son.

Havana Cazadores and the new La Mission size.

Those look tasty. I have not been keeping up. I didn't know that Tatuaje was adding a black label. DP blend? Looks like you had a great time.

As for the JJ, day in and day out my favorite smoke at any price. I have tried the Soloman and they are excellent. I like a lot of different cigars but DP's blends are my favorite. Blue label and Tatuaje Miami are right there with the JJ. Not to say I dont love Padron, Fuente, Liga Privada and others but for every day, Pepin is my guy.

Having a Gran Habano Vintage 02 for a late breakfast. Came with a sampler last order. Tried them before. Decent smoke for the money but nothing special.

Tatuaje has had the black label since 2007 but it was always limited and in certain vitolas only. Now it's regular production and there are 3 new sizes it hasn't been produced in previously.

Ok, I have seen them then. If I remember they are/were mostly Panatela sizes.

The new production lineup is 5 sizes. The existing Corona Gorda, the existing petit lancero, and adds a short robusto (4x50), a Lonsdale (Havana Cazadores), and a gran Toro.
