Speedmaster Pro losing +/- 15sec a day ?

About a year ago, my then 1 year old hesalite Speedmaster Pro stopped so I sent it off for repair. It's came back 3 months later with a little bag a replaced bits and since then I have been wearing it sparingly in rotation with other watches.

A few weeks ago I had it on again but found it was losing about 15secs a day.

Is this acceptable ??

Cheers
FC

No. It should not be more than 10 sec a day.

You should try and have it demagnetized (under warranty).

Servicing can be nightmare.

I foolishly sent my Rolex OP to Rolex and it ran like crap. It was delivered running 1 minute per hour fast. Rolex addressed that, but even after that 10-12” per day. Finally found a guy in town. And he took it from 10-12” to a brilliant 0-1” per day. He described about 4-5 things that Rolex just didn’t do or did poorly.

So no. Any Omega watch worth having, COSC or not, should run under 3”, IMO.

If it was magnetized it would probably be gaining time (and lots of it) or stopping outright, so that isn't the issue.

If it's consistently loosing 15 seconds a day, then it might just need to be regulated (should be done under warranty).

And this is the only reason why I balk at purchasing an 1861/63 movement. Losing/gaining 10spd is unacceptable to me.

Well I think this makes a different view of the accuracy of 1861

Winding every each morning and usually left face up during night
