Tokyo 2020 speedmasters which one is most sought after?

Hello all
I will be going to the Far East on a vacation and am hoping to pick a ss Tokyo 2020 speedmaster
I love them all and will probably be happy with any of them and was wondering
Out of the lineup, which one is most sought after or hardest to get?

I’m really torn between the panda (but I have the White ss daytona) and the blue dial or the white dial with red bezel!

I would happy with any of them really! And if I find all three not sure which one to pick!

It would be my first omega and I wanted to know which one is more popular out of the three

So far I think blue is the easiest to attain and not selling for much premium, if any, in the secondary market.
For Panda, OBs in Japan are no longer taking reservations. Secondary market prices are higher than retail.
The rest of the colors are still available for reservations, but none are available for straight purchase when I was there. Samples for display only.
Black-gold and red looks much, much better in person than pictures. Personally I like red best. Feels very Japanese.

I love the blue but am now considering another, not sure which colour. It is hard to explain just how great they look in person. The applied indices really set off the brushed dial........

None really...

These are just re-issues of previous dials, so market is not going bonkers over them.

I like the blue. I had a gemini 40th anniversary. Same dial. I regret selling it.

The top of my list (tried to have ordered in Japan unsuccessfully) was the blue dial. The Gemini and 2020 are the only variations in blue. They were selling for $3000 over MSRP

If you can get the blue at sticker, go for it.

Blue for me.

White perhaps but not sure about legibility.

According to the OBs in Tokyo the panda is the one that’s most in demand but I think the blue is the nicest. I bought one earlier in the year at Haneda. Then last month I saw the black and gold at the OB in Ginza and I bought it on the spot. It’s much much nicer in person.
If you’re going to be in Tokyo make sure you got the main OBin Ginza. The one on the main road with all the Swatch group brands. The showcase in the lobby is actually the elevator to the boutique!

Good luck and report back!

Thank you all!
I was there a year ago and it wasn’t on my radar at the time and I regret not picking one but it’s all about timing!

Will report back for sure :)
Thank you!!

I don’t know about sought after, but I’m liking the red one and the green. Something a little different. I haven’t seen a green on the grey market yet however....

In truth, I’d have any of them. They all look great.

I like all of them for different reasons, but in order of "just off the top of my head" preference:
1) Panda
2) Tie! Blue and Red
3) Black
4) Green

I really like the blue but have this Sinn that is worth more to me than I could sell it for. Having both seems a bit much within a relatively small collection. I wish the white came with a brushed steel bezel.

Looks great. Similar to the Apollo 11 50th minus the sub dial. Very nice...

For UK members Vintage Speedmasters has one for sale not cheap but not far off what you would pay if you bought from a Japanese Grey and then paid VAT on the import............looks lovely

If you go to the main OB in Ginza they might have something. The main one is in the building that has Swatch Group brands all together.

Haneda airport seems to get some now and then. If he finds anything be sure to post!

Thanks for the intel, I will certainly report back. He will definitely be near Ginza to take a look and believe he is flying in and out of Haneda - might get lucky!
