Anyone else think the Breitling Emergency watch is just cool?

I was just watching a Youtube video on the Breitling Emergency watch, and I just think it is so cool. I do a lot of outdoor climbing and hiking and feel this actually could come in hand if something were to happen in the wilderness. I just do not know if the watch is too large for my wrist.

Anyone have one of these watches?

Yes I love the emergency. Such a cool concept and I nearly bought one to wear when I was out offshore in the great lakes on my sea doo. Ultimately the size renders it too much of a novelty. If it was 42mm I would pay 10-15k for one no question.

I think they are cool, and yes I am biased

I have the "silver" dial Emergency Mission. Its quite user friendly with a HAQ movement and central chronograph second and minute hands. Mine is the later version with polished numerals.

I used to have a titanium Emergency, but I had enough trying to set the watch using just the single crown. The Emergency Mission keeps it simple with *just* chronograph and have a crown to set the time and date.

The titanium Emergency seems to wear smaller, may be due to the lighter weight of titanium. The Emergency is all SS and weight just under a ton. Its huge, but manageable on smaller wrist size with thick straps.

The latest Emergency is both too big and cost too much to me, hence making the older Emergency the choice for me.

The emergency is one of the most hardcore badass tool watches in there are. Great photos, too.

It is cool. But instead of the beacon they can put a high blood pressure capsule in there for me. That way when I get lost I can keep calm.

Really cool looking watch. Yes, I was looking at one of the older models and the newest one at 50mm is just too large.

I was looking at this one.

I'd have one, but its insanely large - and I do like big watches.

I didn't know this until I had to set the date, besides having central min and sec chrono hands, the Emergency Mission has jump hour hand, so I can advance the hour hand without stopping the watch. Useful feature for adjusting timezone or date.
