London based Vintage Rolex Dealers
I am in London for a few days and looking for recommended vintage Rolex dealers. Thanks!

Most of the specialist Vintage Dealers are in the West End around Burlington Arcade and the like David Duggan, Rolex Centre etc - they are very expensive (about 25-30% over TRF, VRF, C24 prices) for the Rich Tourists types, but well stocked. I venture east to Hatton Garden near Holborn much cheaper but you need to know your onions...one of my faves in TEMPVS In the wonder Gallery - they have for example a full set T dial 16710 for £11,900 at moment, others are Tim and John at SWC (watches co.uk) in Chiswick 10 miles west of centre are reasonable too. Hope that helps.

Agree with the above. Watchcentre also worth a look. They have a good website. Watchcentre.com
You need to make an appointment but they are 5 mins walk from Burlington arcade. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

IMG_0484.jpg I was down in London for 2 weeks last sept & checked out the Arcade. Was pretty disappointed to be honest. Wasn’t much of interest & what I did see was v expensive. It’s v centrally based so worth a walk through anyway if in the area. Might get lucky but be prepared for the prices Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Thanks all. I walked through the Arcade, and found some nice pieces in great condition at Vintage Watch Company, but as warned, very expensive. Prices aside, are they a reputable vintage dealer? I’ve read some very mixed reviews that they focus on unknowing tourists. I’m ok with paying a premium for vintage if I know I’m getting genuine original parts.

It's rather a shame they've covered the wonderful mosaic slate floor with a grotty carpet since the last time I was there. |

Can anyone elaborate more on the Vintage Watch Company outside of prices?
