Vintage omega Seamaster

Hi, I am new to forum and am currently trying to build my rolex collection. I also have a vintage omega Seamaster in rose gold. I have a few Nato straps and a couple of leather ones that I alternate between.

It would be great if anyone could tell me anything about it. Ie age and cal if possible. I really don't know much other than I liked the look. I have had it serviced and it runs brilliantly. I think it may date from around 1950/60s?

Thanks!

Thanks. I like its simplicity. Very reliable and straight forward. Would be great to know more about it.

It is an automatic if that helps identification.

That's a beautiful watch, not sure about the NATO though. I'd go with a nice croc strap and matching buckle.

Yes I see where you are coming from. I do have a croc for it. Just chop and change from time to time.

Nice watch

was there not anything on the service papers that you could input into google & get some details ?

You might want to try this place

http://omegaforums.net/

Agree about comment above on the nata - not a good look. Maybe a dark brown leather strap ?

Thanks for the input, I'll do a bit more digging. Totally agree with comments re nato strap. I just get a bit bored of it on the brown leather and like to swap around the straps. I'll post a pic when it's back on the croc strap.

I have a stainless steel one that looks like that and i was told it was from 1963.

What movement is in it?

My dial has swiss made at the bottom edge of the dial like yours, which i think may mean the dial has been refinished?

Thanks for the nice comment and info. The one above certainly looks similar, but has a date function which I beleive makes it a 562 caliber which is different from mine. I have tried googling similar models, but it seems there are a few which look the same, but may be entirely different underneath. May just be something I never really know.

Thanks again for all the help.
