6542 opinion

Hi,

I'd appreciate some help for a 6542 i've a chance to buy
The bezel is aftermarket

1) Is the dial original?
- i've searched online and i have not seen dial that is similar to this, in terms of the configuration/alignment of the letters

2) Is a jubilee bracelet appropriate for the watch?

Any help would be appreciated

Both dial and bezel appear to be aftermarket. Certainly not an example I would recommend you buy.

Where did you find that watch. I’m hunting for a 6542 dial that’s not a service dial

For my education, what is it about the dial that makes you think aftermarket? It looks ok to my eye (although the photo is poor).

I know that. Still wondering.
I suppose I could have posted a copy of this photo and asked the question in a new thread but that seems like that would just clutter things up.
