Sorry for your loss. It's never easy. Here you go Paul.

The Rainbows Bridge Poem
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

~RIP~ BELLA, Sweet Dreams Doggie We Love You!

Thank you all for the wonderful outreach of understanding and emotional support!

I stayed home today with our other doggie LUNA as she is very sad. She would not eat this morning. She is looking for her friend Bella who she has been with everyday for the past 10 years. I guess it is going to take her sometime to get used to things without her little buddie too.

We did get a new pet yesterday. We had a lot of nick names for Bella and Bella Boo was one. In her honor we picked up Butterfly Boo a Beautiful Blue Butterfly Betta Fish.

A few pictures of the day we met Bella and her last day. The Rainbows Bridge Poem was perfect! Many Thanks!

This one hits home with me - I also lost a most loved dog, Belle, after 15 years; she went away three days after Christmas this past year.

I know what you are going through, and it is not easy, not on the least. Yet, congrats on 11 years of having a real and true friend. Not much in life is better.

The pain of your loss is so hard for me to comprehend, yet at this moment there is room in your hearts to welcome a new member to your family......
You are truly one of the most unselfish individuals and an inspiration....
On my worst day I hope I can be half the person you are.
RIP Bella
