Gibson Les Paul Greeny release

So Kirk Hammett went viral earlier this year with this iconic guitar. The hands this guitar has been in from Hendrix to Hammett is unreal. Formally and originally owned by Peter Greene then sold to Gary Moore..

So now they reproducing 50 with a paid trip to the Gibson factory in Nashville to pick up the guitar and tour…

So checking in if anyone in the TRF community is going or picking one up.

My guitar hero, Randy Rhoads' favourite in his collection ('74 Les Paul custom). It has such a distinct tone on these vintage ones.

Pretty sweet release. We had quite a few limited edition come through at the pawn shop I managed and they were always my favorite guitars despite not being able to play much myself. They truely are pieces of functional art.

At the pawn shop I managed for years and prior to working there I had passed up on a 58 les Paul Jr for $800 and always regretted that one. The guitar guy had a 55 or 57 gold top that he had bought off one of the guys who had worked there and apparently it had come through the front door in the 90s. He was the one who told me to buy it and it was a good deal and I would likely never see one again and he was definitely right.

I'm more of a Telecaster or Es335 kind of guy...
