Incoming Heat....

New- well new to me Rolex King Midas 9630 number 774 one of the original 1000. In all it's unpolished glory here it is..... if any one knows where to get a box please let me know.

I have always loved those. The box is probably much rarer than the watch!

A top-tier watch in the 'world-of-cool' for me ...

A big congrats fella.

For me, the King Midas achieves the (almost) impossible, teetering right on the edge with its blingy flashy'ness ... without quite crossing the line. Theres not many items that Elvis wore that a regular Joe could get away with 40 years later. So darn cool !

And here's the Elvis / King Midas story courtesy of Jakes Rolex World

A lot of gold there, fellows!! Great pick up!

How does it wear on the wrist size wise?

It's only 28 mm but it's almost the same width all the way around. Appears large on wrist and very heavy mine weighs 198 grams. Super comfortable the way it hugs the wrist.
