Greg, Very sorry to hear of your loss. It sounds like your life together is something to cherish. It never surprises me when I hear of someone who has predicted their death shortly before it actually happens. It seems to be part of a process for the individual and their peace of mind. In that time your wife was not thinking about herself. Her concern was for your well being. That speaks volumes to her character and humanity.
What seems like a simple comment that she was worried what's going to happen to you carries a much deeper meaning. She was giving you guidance for what was to come and approval for what your life will become. She knew you would be facing the biggest challenge of your life but also knew you are strong enough to face it head on. She was telling you that you'll grieve her passing but then you must move forward with your life. Listen to what's she was saying Greg. You will know when the time is right to find your new path. Reach out to friends and family. Honor her memory by living your life to the fullest. Good Luck.

I’m so sorry to hear of your loss. It was her time to go, and it sounds like she knew it was coming. Take care of yourself and as others have said, reach out to your friends for some support as you’re adjusting to your new situation.

I’m gutted for you Greg. Absolutely gutted.
My mother lost my father a couple months before I was born 30 years ago. Growing up it was very painful but I never understood what my mother went through until I met my wife. Now I’m not sure what scares me more, losing her or passing first and putting her in my mother’s shoes. Life is cruel beyond reason. Seek out friends and family and do your best. When you’re ready find something to put your mind to. All the best
