Stupid question, but does Rolex anniversaries count like years or "editions"?

I.e. if the BLNR was introduced in 2013 (first year of production) would the 10th anniversary have been 2022 (10th year of production) or 2023 (10 years from introduction)?

Think about it, the 50th anniversary GMT came out in 2005. Subtract 50 years from 2005.
