Pepsi bezel color: Rolex vs Tudor

Early photos had me thinking the Tudor was closer in color to the 16710. When I held the 126710 and the Tudor in the steel I must say, they seem almost identical. The only difference being the sheen or reflective properties of the bezel materials. No filters or color enhancement used on the pic.

they are both aluminum. So regardless of color, what material the color is on gives it a certain look.

Black ceramic vs black aluminum are not the same. So its less about the colors to me. I think the Rolex/Tudors are different shades though. The Rolex is way, way harder to photograph though, especially when light is reflecting off the bezel as it confuses the camera. So to me the pic probably looks more different than what they probably looked like IRL.

They don't look identical to me?

Love them both, BTW.

The Rolex tends to look purple indoors, the Tudor black. Only the 5 digits look true blue

From the picture they look different. And I love the look of the ceramic bezel on the Rolex !

I have seen both in person, and they are definitely different. When I try to take a picture of my BB GMT, it almost always looks black and red! Not that I'm complaining - I dig it either way. The BLRO is a little more 'poppy' if that makes sense.

I prefer the Rolex as a whole, but I like the Tudor colors more

They both pale in comparison to the aluminum bezels of the 5 digit GMT's.

I have both (aluminum and ceramic) and although the 5s have charm and different size/feel on the wrist, the 6s/ceramic have improved over their predecessors.

I honestly can't pick a favorite between these two. But the Tudor is more subdued with a vintage feel and the Rolex pops!

I've owned four and five digit GMTs, tried the Ceramic Pepsi, and I think they all have their appeal, but the Tudor's matte bezel colors are a perfect match for their dials. It just works.

Ha! Need them shown in a light booth under 5000K and then use a spector to shoot the LAB's and supply the Delta E....

Or at least that's what I would be asked by Starbucks when we do the colors for their cups.

Both great watches.

The pic was taken at an AD which is pretty bright lights. Regardless of the pic, in the steel to my eyes, they looked like Rolex and Tudor got together and used the same colors. The differences are obvious with ceramic vs aluminum bezels and how they project.

Rolex has more pop. Tudor has a toned down look
