I would either keep what you have if it is all that to you. The Daytona really appeals to me but they are small on my wrist and the NOS, unless it is to remain unworn, really is a lot of extra money. Values on both watches are bloated but reflective of the market. My take on this deal is I would do it. I just like the Daytona better.

Does the Daytona have box and papers? All I’ve seen is that it’s NOS. What’s the cash add in for the trade as well?

I would definitely keep the 5513. The Daytona will stop being NOS as soon as you start wearing it.

It won’t NOS but as long as you don’t beat on it too hard and keep it unpolished it will still be better than most examples.

Don't do it. You can pick up Daytonas all day, decent 5513s not so much.

As an aside, I think there's great value in using a trusted dealer if you're not an absolute expert on what you're buying (and to be honest, few people are). You wouldn't hesitate to buy a GMT from Springer, for example.

You're usually paying extra for expertise greater than yours and peace of mind, but for me that's worth it. Most will buy it back from you later without a major shafting once you have a relationship with them. And yes, of course dealers are in it to make a living.

The definition of "trusted dealer" of course varies.

That 16520 is sweet, legit NOS if it’s full set and you never want to wear it I’d do the trade

I like what everyone has said here.
The biggest truism is that if you are buying a new watch (or new old stock as in this case) then you are immediately changing its value by wearing it. So, why pay a premium for that?
In any case, your 5513 is beautiful!!
I have one just like it, with the same 7206 bracelet.
Keep the sub, and look around for a different Daytona, as another purchase, for another day.
