Amsterdam Next Week w/ “The Hill”

I’m heading over to Amsterdam next week to catch up with my boys from Cypress Hill for a music festival in Hague, and was wondering what are some of the “must do’s”, besides the obvious!

Im not located in Amsterdam, but I will come over for Trace I live in the very southeast of the country, about as far away from Amsterdam as you can get without leaving the country 2.5hr drive/train ride.

Shoot, a 3 hour drive is nothing!! That would be like going from one side of Atlanta to the other in rush hour. Normal commute for many. Have fun and don’t let Trace get you in trouble.

Lol that is a long commute then has to be train ride though, since I won't be driving a car after having the obligatory Amsterdam joint.

Aside from smoking reefer and walking around I haven't done much in Amsterdam, wouldn't know what else to do, shopping maybe
Plenty of museums if you're into that.

I went to the Anne Frank house. Pretty much every kid in America reads that book, so it was very interesting to see where it all happened. Amsterdam in general is a very interesting place to just walk around and see the sights.

Oh, I have a very funny train ride story from my trip to Amsterdam. I have to say that the Dutch police understand drunken redneck English very well. Quite impressive!!!

Hit me up when you're in Burbank. I'll show you around.

Apparently they have a studio down the street from my house....I've been told.

They probably understand redneck English better than my southern Dutch accent. I've had people in Amsterdam switch to German because they thought I wasn't speaking the same language as them

I'd recommend a boat trip in Amsterdam. Forget about the drugs and don't rent a bike. Regards from a local :-)

I've always used Greenhouse and Dampkring Coffeeshops. IMO the best you can find there. However, a couple years ago I started using Kooi Coffeeshop - Amstelstraat 35 next to Rembrandtplein (Rembrandt Square). The atmosphere is great and it's very close to the apartment we rent every year at Amstel. The owner wears a nice blue WG DD lol. But to be honest Trace if you're with the band you don't need tips. Just go with the flow. They will be invited to the best places and you'll have a great time I'm sure.
