How long do you think will it take...?

Hi all,

I put down a deposit for a Sky D in black and a SD43.

How long do you think will it take? My AD told me that I will be the first one who will get it as he has no lists. They allow people to buy watches via deposit (and one customer after another). He thought maybe 6 to 8 month for the Sky D and he couldn't tell me a lead time for the SD43.

Btw... It was a 2.5 month wait until I got the call that I can put a deposit down. The relationship is great as I bough already several watches from them.
They also mentioned that they have to send new customers away for the hot pieces (besides package deals with unpopular or PM pieces).

Cheers,
Alex

Easy. There is actually a pretty decent amount of information around here to at least provide some examples of how long the OP might expect to wait. Everyone’s story will be different, but there are a lot of reports to form decent guesstimates here. Either way, no need to get so upset by the questions.

I’ve found it pretty easy to get an SD43 (relatively speaking that is). I’m not totally sure about the sky D. I think that one even with the back dial could be a while. But with a great relationship ship with your AD you shouldn’t be waiting too long. If I had to guess though the SD43 will probably pop
Up before the SkyD.

Lastly, if you do have a strong relationship with the AD, see if They will Give you a better time frame.

SKYD = Up to 1yr

SD43 = 30-60 Days

This of course depends on a number of factors, but the people who actually GET these watches seem to wait around that length of time for them.

Now there will be a cascade of people who will write that they have been on a list for 700000 years and no call. You might be one of those too, unfortunately.

But I would say if you don't see a SD43 in 60 days, start looking around.

I think the SD43 can be had in a few months time. Depending on the color, the SkyD will be a while. I waited 16 months for mine. Good luck!
