Is this correct?

Hello, VERY NEWBE question. I am searching for a Sub or GMT II pre owned for local transaction. I found a non date sub on ebay. It is a 2006 model but has holes in the case. Is this correct? Sorry for such a rookie question but I have searched and can not find a definitive answer. I contacted the seller who said it may be a 2005 model but has a "Z" serial so he thought it was a 2006. Any suggestions. I can not figure out how to copy the link correctly so you'll have to copy past this to your browser to look. Thank for your assistance!

Welcome to TRF.

Stay away from this one. I don't believe the Z series has holes in the lugs. No right minded high end watch seller would show the complete serial number of a watch he was selling. Check the seller's prior sales. 90% have all been rinky dink junk. He has not sold any high end watches.

The rule is Buy the seller - not the watch.

The holes in the lugs are correct, the band appears genuine and most everything else I observed appear genuine from the pics. There is one photo where I didn't like the look of the coronet on the dial, but in the others it appeared OK.

The seller has been around the bay for sometime, judging from his feedback. I'd check out his feedback a little more and get his phone number and call him and see what the story is on the watch.

Err buddies...for some reasons...Ref 14060M does not appeal to Orchi...

This particular Ref...can cause some confusion...

1. 14060M launched in 2001 by Rolex...until later Z Series(in this case Z 7.4 million series)
has NO COSC Cal. n NO COSC signature on Dial...n NO engraving on chapter ring...

2. 14060M from end Z Series until M Series has COSC Cal. n COSC signature on Dia...
n engraving on chapter ring...

Both has Luminova markers n Hands...Both has holes on lugs...n BOTH has NO SEL(Solid End Links)...

BUT Orchi likes...the previous 14060(NO M) that has 3030 Non-COSC
Cal. movement...n Tritium Dial("SWISS-T<25")...!

BTW...Orchi has seen that type of Coronet on the Dial of that listed 14060M...

Agree with Springer!

I also owned a Z-no date and it had the holes. I was informed this model (no date) carried the last cases w/holes until they ran out. Seller looks solid also.

I have the same watch and the watch listed looks exactly the same. I don't see any issues with it.

Good everyday wearer - as good as my everyday white Exp II (courtesy of Springer).
