BLNR gets brushed sub bracelet

Love my BLNR but found myself wearing my Sub ND and Hulk more due to the brushed bracelet offered more comfort. Plus fell out of love with the PCL.

So realised if I could combine the 2 best of both. Bought myself the sub gridlock bracelet and installed onto the BLNR and I think it looks pretty good. My perfect watch now.

I didn’t want to brush the original bracelet as still under warranty etc, plus I would get gridlock so an expensive option I know but I’m happy so all good.

The BLNR with the SubC bracelet is almost the perfect watch

Really awesome!

Ive been thinking about doing the same so thank you for posting these incredible photos.

The PCLs just scratch so easily.

The GMT can be a tool watch too!

I generally don't like the BLNR but this makes it better. I like the PCLs on every other model but brushed really works here.

That is a good look. I'd do that too, if it weren't for the thousands and thousands of dollars that it would cost me.

And I think it's glidelock, not gridlock. We'll blame it on the iPad and its autocorrect nonsense.

I finally like that watch now. Well done. The PCL was my greatest aversion to it!

This looks great! Thank you for sharing. I'm currently on the hunt for my first Rolex which is a BLNR. I have actually already thought about how it would look with a brushed bracelet, and considered maybe doing this when I finally got it. Now, I don't have to imagine what it might look like thanks to your pics, and I'm really loving it!

If you don't mind me asking.....What did the Sub bracelet cost? How long did it take to arrive? Why do you find this bracelet more comfortable? I would think it would feel the same as the original BLNR one?

Thanks!

Cheers all, wanted to do this for a while and not that many pics out there showing the result, so wanted to share for a balanced view and if anyone else was thinking about doing it.

Here’s some more (serial no rubbed)

Glad you like it. Note you’ll see I’ve already a scratch on the first link.. 3 hrs in and not even bothered :)

New from an AD, a replacement for my very scratched up non date sub bracelet, just parking it here for a while that’s all...
