I'm glad that you are loving the white dial, OP. If I may chime in: I have the white dial - it was an impulse buy, right-place-right-time scenario.... I knew I wanted the sky-dweller because of the mechanics in it, being the most complex Rolex (possibly neck to neck w the yachtmaster II), and, being a Rolex, I knew it would be perfectly over-engineered. I wasnt thinking of the white dial until it was presented to me in the coffin by the AD. I knew then that I had to buy this watch. To all those that have not seen it in this color iteration, it is difficult to explain the allure of the white dial just based on photographs as the complexity of the dial cannot be expressed in photos. The white dial, to me, compliments the sky-dweller because it does not take away from the beauty of the watch itself- ie. The dial is "simple" at first sight, so the richness of the platinum bezel and absolute coolness of the over-engineered dial with its GMT subdial is the first thing that jumps out. Only then do you recognize the complexity in the colors of the dial- yes, it's white, but, my-oh-my, what a very complex white it is. This watch exudes rolex in all its elegance. I think that the black and blue dial are more "sporty" and, as such, are special in their own ways. The only thing I am not sure that i am too keen on w the white sky-D are the red accents on the dial. I personally think they distract attention away from the richness of the white dial- I wish they had stuck w black accents. Sorry, I cant post a pic until I hit my tenth post :(

the white face looks fantastic, the blue face looks fantastic...you can't go wrong with either one, but you like the blue more....

the white just speaks to me.

but get the one you want...that you will never regret!

i waited to get the 5 digit sub date rehaut...passing on many 5's and 6 digit, the weight was the issue, and i am happy as heck with my choice with no regret.

Got mine when it was first introduced from an Italian AD...before all this non sense with AD’s started...and paid retail
Loved the white...blue is gorgeous too.
Can’t go wrong with either.....but I can’t wrap my head around paying these inflated prices nowadays.

Enjoy whatever you get

But you just said that that is not what you really want, If it worth the wait for you just wait, unless you have waited quite much already.

If you just scroll to the top of this page (you don't have to go through the entire thread) you will see I bought the white once. Thank you for the advice. Happy with the white.
