There are many Philosophies on Human Kind, Some Western Science based, Some Religion based. As humans I'm not sure we "know" anything, we simply have belief systems.

I have my own belief system, but haven't gone into detail on it. I simply try to convey my belief that our government has lied to us about UFO's for 70+ years and now they want us to start believing.
