I love my white dial with the romans and fluted bezel. Very classy looking and the Romans provide some contracts with the white gold. The sticks are white, so there’s less contrast and kind of blends together on that dial a bit. I went with the oyster but I think the jubilee looks great with the white Roman dial as well.

Romans tend to give it a more button down serious look. The batons are more casual IMO

Roman numerals, fluted and jubilee on 36 the classic and classy DJ. Some would say the perfect DJ.

Only downside is that when darkness comes it's just hard to tell the time. Well, for me midlife eyes anyway.

It's just all about health, happiness & family. The rest are just necessary inconvenience we have to deal with.

Maybe it’s a generational thing, but to me it’s a no brainer: stick batons.

I’m looking for this exact watch, and have had this debate back and forth myself. I’m going sticks. I also have a ss DJ with sticks and love it.

I love the sticks on the 126234 since it looks more like the dj41 but I prefer the romans on the 116234, which is what I chose. Can’t go wrong either way so choose what you like more.

My choice is the white Romans, smooth bezel on oyster bracelet.

Available in both 36 and 41.

sticks on a 36 dial gets my vote. Maybe numerals on a larger 41??

My vote is for the stick markers. I find roman numerals to be a little cramped on the 36mm dial versus a 41mm day-date where they have a little more breathing room. You really can't go wrong either way though.

I like the white dial with Roman numerals. Since, I like blue dials, I have these two. Both dial are beautiful, however the Roman numerals does not have any lume. That may help you make your decision, if lume is a must have for you.

The 1970s called and they want the Roman numerals back. Or maybe it was the Roman Empire. All kidding aside I say stick, at the end of the day, it’s your money and your aesthetic

I absolutely love my 36mm White dial SS DateJust with Roman numerals. Oyster bracelet, smooth bezel, It’s a classic. It actually gets more wrist time, than my SS Submariner Date. You can’t go wrong.

I faced this exact conundrum several months back and chose to go with the Roman indices. They provide an infinitely elegant splash of color against the white dial and are “centre stage”.
