Is there any discounts given on sd43 126600?

Hi everyone, What has been trf members experience with sd43? Is is typically full msrp for sd43 Red Sea dweller 126600 or can a discount be possible without purchasing 2nd Watch or PM piece? I understand they are rare but nothing like Daytona c or sky-d. Thanks.

Here we go again. Pay retail and move on. You'll most likely not get a discount if you have not bought before. Yes, I understand there is the usual outlier that does. The SS models are crazy hot. You're spending 12k. What's 3% really?

No! Some ADs only sell SD43 to waitlist

Or clients who have long purchased history.

No discount, but I did receive two free waters and a sanctimonious sticker removal ceremony from my AD.

Full MSRP, was offered champagne. Didn't even bother asking for his best price.

Last time I asked an AD for a discount on a professional sports model, they bit my head off. 'Sir, there is absolutely no discount on this model and we have a waiting list". Anything else is 15% off standard, might probably go further down on TTs and PMs.

If things cool down and more of these models remain stagnant in dealers display cases, then discounts are certainly attainable, however, as long as there's someone standing behind you more than happy to pay MSRP while the grey market dealer down the road is asking 24% over MSRP, don't count on a discount. I would still ask anyways. But don't be surprised if you don't get it. I'm sure on the unpopular models, a discount should be doable.

Picked up mine last summer while vacationing in the Caribbean. Got it with a discount and was dropped off at the resort we were staying.

All about supply and demand. Not a tremendous demand for the SD43, but limited supply on purpose creates a certain perception. See the thread about AD tactics. Put all the popular models back in the vault and not in the display case and everyone assumes a no date Sub or BLNR, etc. are hard to come by and you are lucky to pay full MSRP.

I did get extra goodies, I was with my 4 years old when I picked it up. He got a bag of animal crackers and I got delicious mineral water.

Got a 5% discount on mine from my AD. Walked in and they had just received it that day and I happened to be the first to happen upon it.
