If you are not wearing it sell it! Pick a day or two a week to wear it though because it sounds like it still has charm to you. I still regret the day I let my bluesy go and will own another one day.

Do what any self respecting watch nut would do. Have a few drinks and flip it towards an AP or PP

I was going to say that the SD43 is so new that you should keep it until the newness of it wears off and you have worn both a long time. I think then you will start to wear the Bluesy again. I just think the SD43 has captivated you but as you get more used to it and the novelty wears off you will find more time to wear the Bluesy for a change.

That's what I was going to say until I read down through the thread it was suggested you buy the all gold sub. If that's an option that's what you should do

If not, keep the Bluesy. After the initial love for the SD43 dies down I think you'll regret having sold it.

So many ways to approach the issue but unless the watch has certain sentimental value why keep it? Trade it, sell it and buy something you enjoy more in the mean time. Seems like your taste has changed or that the look of the watch on you might not live up to the craving for it off of your wrist beforehand.

If in 10 years you wake up and really miss it buy one back and you will have enjoyed something else more than the feeling (finding it a shame) of keeping a beautiful watch in a metal box.

If it's your grail watch just wear it once in a while. It's not difficult !

Nothing wrong with selling; on the other hand give it some time its allure may return.

The bluesy is such a stunning summer watch with its sunburst dial. Maybe just keep it throughout the winter and decide in spring 2018 what to do with it.

I would start wearing it a few days a week. You described it as a grail and you had strong feelings toward it at one time. I have the same issue with my SD43, it has taken over the wrist time for my other watches. Why not wait until Basel 18 and see what comes out. Wear the watch between now and then and you will know. If you still feel the same this spring I would move on.

I can’t wrap my head around having a “grail” watch but being unable to wear it?

Sell it. That's the problem with TT Subs, they don't work well in casual situation IMO so you wind up wearing only with dress clothes. SD43 works in all situations. I don't see the need for two sport watches. Just my opinion which I'm sure is in the minority around here

You realize that it was never a true grail and you sell it

If you don't wear it, it's not a grail. It's bye, bye time!!

Time for something new and better.

Well since it isn't getting any wrist time I would keep it only until you got to the point you are ready to trade it in on an all gold Sub.

Since the TT seems a little flashy for your tastes and occasion, I'd consider trading it in plus cash on a very nice condition Smurf

What they said. Plus, since you still get that "wow" in your head and a smile on your face while you try it on, it's a keeper.

Sell it if you’re not wearing it.

I find your own grail Watch is never set in stone, it changes over time. Maybe your Sea Dweller is your new grail, 5 years from now it might be a Submariner!

I would sell it as well if so called grail falls into disfavor. However, I would weigh my decision over and over again to prevent any remorse for selling it later

Quick update, thanks to this response. Initially, when I read this post, I thought, "well, that's not helpful"... So, I started wearing it, once in a while. Ill be dammed, it is perfect! I do love it and very happy I own it. I am rather glad I made this post as it gave me a not so subtle kick in the pants!

Thanks!

Eventually All Rolex models keep decent value! Depends how you keep it for. Look at the early TT models, they’re still being sold for more than they were bought for years ago
